Sherali zhunusov
Sherali is the founder and owner of Pamir Personal Tours. He was
born and raised in Alichur, a little village in central Pamir. He obtained a bachelor’s
degree in Foreign Languages at Khorog State University.
Sherali has been working in the tourism field since 2010, principally as a mountain guide in the Pamir and Kyrgyz mountains. In 2013 he became a fully certified guide and started organising tours in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. Nowadays, he guides tourists from all over the world. Besides Pamiri, Kyrgyz, and Tajik, he speaks fluently English, Persian and Russian. Having lived all his life among the Kyrgyz, Tajik and Pamiri cultures he enjoys giving visitors an insider’s understanding of this unique blend of cultures typical of the Pamir region. He is also engaged in improving the socioeconomic aspects of his native region and seeks to help local communities.
